1. Booking, Deposits, and Payments

Event Service Fee: An Event Service Fee of 50% of the total contracted amount is required to secure the date and time of your event. No booking is confirmed until the Event Service Fee is cleared. A refund of this Event Service Fee will only be granted in the case of Andrew Wong not being able to perform due to conditions below, otherwise, this Event Service Fee is considered as non-refundable.
Final Balance: The Remaining Balance is strictly due by 24 hours prior to the scheduled event date and time.
Late Payments: Failure to clear the Remaining Balance by the due date may result in the immediate cancellation of services and forfeiture of the deposit.
Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards and secure payments through our digital invoices or online portal.
100% of gratuity given by guests will be retained by Andrew, the cigar roller.

Client Cancellation: Cancellations made fewer than 24 hours before the event will be granted the refund of their Remaining Balance, but not the initial Event Service Fee. Client acknowledges there is no right to retain ownership of any property that Mantis has prepared specifically for the event date.
Rescheduling: Requests to reschedule are subject to vendor availability. If the rescheduled date is within 30 days, a rescheduling fee may apply if the change is requested close to other Client events that have already been scheduled.
If Mantis (Andrew Wong) cannot perform due to severe weather, sudden illness, or other restrictions, we will issue a full refund of all amounts paid, including the Event Service Fee, but will not be liable for further damages.

Legal Age Required: In strict compliance with federal, state, and local laws, Mantis will only distribute premium tobacco products and provide demonstration services to individuals who are 21 years of age or older.
ID Verification: Our staff reserves the right to request valid, government-issued photo identification from any guest attempting to receive a cigar.
Underage Compliance: The Client agrees to assist in ensuring that minors do not access tobacco products during the event. Mantis reserves the right to halt services immediately if underage distribution occurs, without refund.
This service involves nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical. Tobacco use can cause cancer and heart disease.
This service can expose you to chemicals including nicotine, which is known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.
Mantis is not liable for damages related to the effects of nicotine or tobacco. All attendees participate at their own risk.

Setup Space: The Client must ensure the venue provides a designated, level setup space of at least [e.g., 6x6 feet] for the rolling station, including adequate lighting.
Outdoor/Indoor Restrictions: Cigars involve live smoke. The Client is entirely responsible for ensuring that the venue permits cigar smoking and rolling on-site. Any fines, venue penalties, or event disruptions caused by venue smoking policies are the sole responsibility of the Client.
Inclement Weather: For outdoor setups, the Client must provide overhead shelter (e.g., a tent or canopy) to protect the raw tobacco materials from direct sunlight, high winds, or precipitation.

Assumption of Risk: The Client acknowledges that tobacco consumption carries inherent health risks. Guests consume products entirely at their own discretion and risk.
Property Damage: The Client assumes full financial responsibility for any physical damage caused to Mantis property, equipment, or displays by the Client’s guests or venue staff during the event.

Promotional Footage: Mantis reserves the right to take photographs or videos of the cigar rolling display and setup during the event to be used for promotional, portfolio, or marketing purposes.
Guest Privacy: We will make every effort not to compromise the privacy of your guests. If you require a strict non-disclosure or no-photo policy for your event, please notify us in writing prior to signing the contract.
